The Legend of the First Kigoi

Once upon a time, in a beautiful koi pond, there was a koi fish named Sakura. Sakura was a beautiful fish with vibrant colors and graceful movements. One night, as she was swimming in the pond, she fell asleep and began to dream.

In her dream, Sakura found herself swimming in a river that flowed through a dense forest. The water was crystal clear, and the sunlight filtered through the trees, creating a dappled pattern on the water's surface. As she swam, she noticed that the river was full of other koi fish, each one more beautiful than the last.

As Sakura swam deeper into the forest, she saw a large waterfall in the distance. She had heard stories about this waterfall, but had never seen it before. As she approached, she saw that the waterfall was guarded by a fierce dragon.

The dragon blocked Sakura's path, and she was afraid. But then, the dragon spoke to her in a gentle voice. "Do not be afraid, little koi," the dragon said. "I am the guardian of this waterfall, and I have been waiting for you. You are special, Sakura, and I have a gift for you."

With that, the dragon opened its mouth and breathed a stream of fire onto Sakura's scales. At first, Sakura was frightened, but then she felt a warm, tingling sensation all over her body. When the dragon finished, Sakura looked down and saw that her scales had turned into gold.

Sakura felt so proud of her new golden scales. She swam back to the koi pond to show off her new look to her friends. As she arrived, she realized that it had all been a dream.

However, when she looked in the water, she saw that her scales had indeed turned to gold. Sakura was thrilled and felt like the most special koi fish in the pond.

From that day on, Sakura lived happily in the koi pond, and her golden scales shone in the sunlight. She became the most admired fish in the pond, and her friends could hardly believe the story of her dream. Sakura knew that her dream had been a magical gift, and she was grateful for it every day.
